Custom glass shower enclosure with frameless panel, tiled bench and niche in the Tri-Cities

When a “Door” Isn’t Enough

Some showers aren’t a simple opening in a wall. Corner showers need two glass planes meeting at 90°. Neo-angle showers need three panels and precisely mitered edges. Showers with benches, half-walls, or sloped ceilings need notched and angled panels cut to follow the structure. That’s custom enclosure work — and it’s where measurement discipline separates a stunning result from a caulked apology.

Configurations We Build

  • 90° corner enclosures — door plus return panel, the most common custom layout in Tri-Cities masters.
  • Neo-angle enclosures — the classic three-sided corner unit, great for squeezing a real shower into a modest footprint.
  • Inline door + panel(s) — wide openings split into fixed glass and a swing door, with notches over knee walls and benches.
  • Steam shower enclosures — glass to the ceiling with operable transoms and gasketed seals that hold steam where it belongs.
  • Splash panels & walk-in screens — a single fixed panel for doorless walk-in showers; minimal glass, maximal openness.

Built for Real Tri-Cities Bathrooms

Custom work is where local housing quirks matter most. We template around the bench seats common in Southridge and Badger Mountain South new builds, deal with the charmingly unsquare corners of Richland’s alphabet homes, and confirm structural backing before hanging heavy frameless panels on any wall. Every enclosure is drawn, dimensioned, and confirmed with you before the glass is cut.

Investment Range

Custom enclosures span a wide range because the configurations do: simple corner units start around $1,600 installed, typical door-plus-panel layouts run $2,000–$3,500, and full steam enclosures range upward from there. Your written quote itemizes glass, hardware, coating, and labor — no lump-sum mysteries.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you measure for a custom enclosure?

We laser-measure every plane at multiple heights, check plumb and level on each wall, and template any notches or angles. The fabricator cuts each tempered panel to those exact dimensions — tempered glass cannot be trimmed after the fact, so measurement is everything.

Can you do glass all the way to the ceiling?

Yes. Ceiling-height glass is standard for steam showers and increasingly popular for looks alone. We add transoms or vents where needed for airflow.

What about a shower with a bench or half wall?

Notched panels that follow benches, curbs, and knee walls are routine custom work. The glass is cut to sit cleanly on the structure with even sealant lines.

How long does a custom enclosure take?

Plan on 2–3 weeks from measurement to installation for most custom configurations, with the install itself taking half a day.
